As a naga you must be able to assess threats early on. You simply cannot run across a level with something chasing you in the hopes of keeping the one square of separation needed to climb stairs safely. However, the movement limitation is substantial. All in all I'd say they are my favorite race. This is very important in the end game, but helps out a lot early on too. Most importantly, nagas have shit tons of HP. Stealth is just about the most important skill in keeping you alive throughout much of the game, so this is much nicer than it sounds. Their aptitudes are good enough that they can do just about anything, they get a substantial natural AC bonus, they get innate sInv and rPois (both huge early game), they have an easy time with shields, and they have a huge stealth aptitude and bonus. Nagas are an extremely strong race if you can get around their slow movement speed limitation. Kef the Naga Transmuter of Cheibriados, Part 1: In Which Centaurs Are Giant Dicks Here's to hoping that I don't just become another ghost forever doomed to torment other foolish souls that seek the Orb of Zot!
